Three weeks ago I was walking around UC Berkeley… then I suddenly couldn’t walk at all.
What started as numb toes turned into ER trips, hospital transfers, a spinal tap, nerve tests, and a diagnosis: Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
USC Keck was my dream med school — but I never imagined entering it as a patient.
This is the start of my healing story.
